Susan Kasnett and Lauren Kasnett Nearpass, a mother-daughter duo, founded Summer 365 back in 2013, to bring summer camp consulting to the 21st century.

Sure, Google searches, Facebook crowdsourcing, and ChatGPT can serve up a variety of information, but to get real insider knowledge, guidance, and perspective, you have to go with people who know it, love it, and live it—everyday.

As camp alums, both Susan and Lauren understand wholeheartedly just how important those years were for shaping their character and solidifying their commitment to being the best they can be.

As moms, the feelings are even more profound today. A positive summer experience is not only long-lasting, it can be absolutely life-changing. That’s why it was so imperative that the camp search process be simplified and made available to everyone, at no charge.

Through the years, the family has grown by leaps and bounds. Just like Susan and Lauren, the amazing team at Summer 365 are mothers and former campers themselves. (Some were even camp counselors and camp directors!)

They all share the same passion for summer, experienced its transformative power, and know the importance of “getting it right.” Each takes a holistic approach to matching every child or teenager with the right camp or program by working one-on-one with family members. It’s about as comprehensive, insightful, and stress-free a process as possible.
